White Owl Rubricku (Experiment)
White Owl \"Sudoku Renku\": April, 2006
This is an experiment in creating a nine-stanza renku in a 3 x 3 configuration. It is a forerunner of the RubricKu in which the central 3-line stanza links to all the other stanzas in the poem (in this White Owl experiment, the central stanza only links with the vertical and horizontal stanzas).
Each corner represents a season and is a proper hokku. Two-line verses link each corner to another corner and also contain one of the three traditional renku topics (blossom, moon, love). The 3-line verse in the very centre links to each of the four two-line verses horizontally and vertically. All the other gray boxes are 1- or 2-word link hints. Underneath is a season topic map.
