Awhile ago I created a renku in a 3 x 3 interlocking grid format in which the four corners are 3-line hokku (haiku). I am now calling this form of renku, "Rubricku".

 

I have just created a new one called "Spring Thaw". The centre stanza of it is the following:

 

In her new

easy-bake oven she burns

a roast chicken.

 

This stanza links with the other eight stanzas (four seasonal hokku and four 2-line non-seasonals). You can view a two dimensional representation of this rubricku showing the linkages between stanzas and other renku aspects from this PDF:
